Sean King utilizes his background in accounting, law, taxation, insurance, and investments to serve as a Principal of SageView's Southeast offices. He specializes in creatively structuring and managing qualified and non-qualified retirement plans to assist clients in achieving business, retirement, estate planning, tax savings and asset protection objectives.

In December 2009, Sean was named one of the "300 Most Influential Advisors in Defined Contribution" by 401(k) Wire, and in September 2008, he was named one of the "20 Rising Stars of Retirement Plan Advisory" by Institutional Investor magazine. In 1996, Sean and his business partner, Tim Sykes, founded Retirement Plan Consultants, Inc. ("RPC"), a retirement plan design, consulting, and administration firm. Sean currently serves as RPC's President.

Sean received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Cum Laude, from the University of Tennessee (UT). He also earned his Master's degree in Accounting with a concentration in Taxation, as well as his Doctor of Jurisprudence (law) degree from UT. Today, Sean holds active licenses as a CPA, attorney and insurance agent and is a registered representative with Financial Network Investment Corporation.
